Advance baking skills training provides new opportunities for PDLs in MisOcc
OROQUIETA, Misamis Occidental — The Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental, under the leadership of Governor Henry S. Oaminal through the Misamis Occidental Provincial Reformatory Jail (MOPRJ) led by Mr. Stephen Sean M. Daral in collaboration with OAIS-TESDA under Engr. Lee M. Catane, organized an Advance Baking Skills training program. Focused on torta, cake, and pastries making, this initiative forms a crucial part of the 5-Point Reformation Program of MOPRJ. The program aims to equip Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with essential life skills and provide them with opportunities for livelihood upon their release and reintegration into society. Beyond mastering the art of baking, participants are encouraged to develop other valuable skills that can lead to sustainable employment.
