OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental---The last members of the Communist group Guerrilla Front Sendong received rewards from Misamis Occidental Governor Henry S. Oaminal for choosing to renew his life and becoming a beacon of peace within the province. Governor Oaminal demonstrated his dedication to pushing for peace and security in the province during a Provincial Peace and Order Council meeting where he announced the provision of full integration support to a former communist rebel who recently surrendered to the 10th Infantry Battalion (10IB) of the Philippine Army deployed in the province.
